This online store is made available to you under the following policies and conditions, by using viewtech.co.nz you agree to accept the conditions described in this policy.

We want to make your shopping experience as safe, satisfying, convenient and pleasurable as possible. We take your privacy very seriously. The information which we receive from you is used to process orders and to provide you with a more personalised shopping experience. This means that your information will not be sold or otherwise divulged to third parties without your prior consent. If you are an individual, you have certain rights to access information about yourself and if necessary to ask for it to be corrected.

GST

All prices listed on our public site include GST and are quoted in NZD.  If you are a trade customer and are logged in the price quoted excludes GST and is in NZD.

Viewtech 30 Day Money Back Guarantee

Some products listed on our site come with a 30 day money back guarantee.  Our money back Guarantee is a key component to our business and goes up and beyond the Consumer Guarantees Act.  It enables our customers to purchase goods and try them with the full right to send them back if they change their mind.  This enables them to make sure that the product will suit their application.    

Conditions of 30 Day Money Back Guarantee

1.                  The goods must be returned to base within 30 days of the GST receipt date.

2.                  The goods must be in original unused and uninstalled condition plus all accessories, cables, parts, box and manuals.  Not even a scratch, missing manual or bag will be allowed.

3.                  We will refund the sale price of the goods excluding the courier charge. 

4.                  The buyer must pay the courier charge of returning the goods.

5.       This 30 Day Money Back Guarantee does not apply to orders over $1000 so choose larger orders carefully.

Deliveries

All deliveries will be delivered to an address supplied by the buyer, Viewtech Ltd takes no responsibility for deliveries that are sent to an incorrectly supplied address.  Viewtech Ltd is not responsible for packages that are confirmed to be delivered by the courier company but are missing from the front door or mailbox. Deliveries that are lost in transit and are missing will be handled by Viewtech Ltd. Please email us if your purchase has not arrived and we will launch a claim with our courier company.

All deliveries are made via CourierPost.  CourierPost is generally a fast reliable service which is fully traceable. Most smaller items will shipped via a 24 hour service and larger items will be shipped via the 2-3 day service unless otherwise requested.  

A tracking number will be provided for every sale so you can always keep track of your item while it is in transit.

Warranty and Limitation of Liability

Viewtech Ltd’s warrants that for 12 months from the date of your GST receipt we will remedy defects in materials, design and workmanship in our products free of charge by, at our option, repairing or replacing the defective product.  This warranty is void if failure of the relevant product results from accident, or modification, abuse or misuse of the product, and does not cover normal wear and tear.  If the product cannot be repaired and cannot be replaced due to being out of stock or end of line we will offer a store credit or a full refund of the purchase price.   The refund will be excluding any shipping fees that were originally paid.   Under no circumstances does this warranty apply to batteries that are either supplied by Viewtech Ltd separately or supplied in products that we sell.  Viewtech Ltd will make final decision on whether the fault is due to misuse, abuse or failing to maintain the item OR is a legitimate warranty claim.

We and our employees and agents shall not be liable to you for any claim for breach of contract (except as specified in the warranties in this policy) or statute or breach of duty in tort (including negligence) or for any claim in equity or otherwise at law and shall not, in any case, be liable for any exemplary, punitive, indirect or consequential losses, including loss of business profits.  If you are acquiring the Goods or Services for business purposes, the guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 do not apply.

Stock

Although we try to keep all products on our site in stock and at reasonable levels we acknowledge that not 100% of the time we can fill all orders due to unforseen circumstances.  Items not in stock are placed on back order and will be supplied as soon as they are back in stock.  Any items paid for that are not in stock can be refunded asap a the customers request. 

Australian Customers

We welcome orders from our Australian Customers.  To obtain a shipping quote please email us and include the products you wish to purchase and we will provide a quote.  Most items will arrive within 4 days of being paid for.

We may review and change this policy at any time and from time to time.  Any such change will take effect from the date on which we publish the change on our website.
