Viewtech Ltd stocks a wide range of dual voltage and both 850nM and 940nM infrared spotlights. Infrared spotlights are used to aid cameras in seeing in the dark and the correct one should be chosen based on IR wavelength, distance and angle information.
850nM: 97% Invisible. The spotlight aperture will emit a visible red light but the majority of the light will only be visible to a camera. No visible light reflection.
940nM: 99.9% Invisible. The spotlight aperture emits virtually no visible light and as still visible to the camera. No visible light reflection.
Cameras are much more sensitive to 850nM light than 940nM therefore 850nM has better performance but are more easily seen and 940nM is fully covert but does not achieve the same visible distance.
