Collision Detection Radar Heavy Duty
The CDR (collision detection radar) detects objects or people within a vehicles blindspot when reversing to reduce collision or injuries. If an obstacle is within the radars zone of coverage while the vehicle is reversing the system alerts the driver with both a visual and audible warning.
CDRs use Doppler radar technology to provide the most comprehensive blind-zone coverage available. Doppler radar is unaffected by environmental and weather conditions such as rain, fog, snow, dirt and smoke.
The CDRs unique ability to only alarm when the distance between the CDR and an object is changing reduces false alarms and gives instant alert to the operator if the distance starts reducing. If the distance grows greater the alert is instantly cut off.
